Teachers To Go is looking for a friendly & engaging elementary teacher who can make learning fun for three children in-person (two girls ages 9 & 12, and occasionally their 5 year old brother) teaching homeschool at their home in Jupiter, FL 33478 Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours (20 hours/week) that pays $60,000/year. A female teacher is preferred, since the two main students are female.

Looking for a kind and nurturing elementary teacher to teach the children and collaborate/"co-teach" homeschool with the mom using their current IXL Montessori curriculum, or other curriculum as agreed. (Parent is open to collaborating with the teacher on curricula, as long as it can be fun and doesn't push too hard.) The teacher will be responsible for teaching and working with the mom to implement and teach all subjects.

The right teacher will be very patient, soft, kind, nurturing, encouraging, engaging, and able to provide positive reinforcement. Looking for a teacher who genuinely enjoys teaching and wants to be there. The right teacher will also be flexible, accommodating to non-academic learning goals (not too academically stringent), and adaptive to each child's needs. Looking for a teacher who can inspire children to want to learn, and can utilize some outdoor teaching and hands-on learning. Some prior special education or inclusion classroom experience is preferred, but not required.

Requirements: BA and minimum of one year full-time professional self-contained classroom teaching experience at the elementary level is required (some SPED or inclusion classroom experience is a plus). Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, must be able to travel to the home of the students in person in Jupiter FL 33478 Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm, must have good communication skills, must be willing to interview in person in Jupiter FL and via live video chat.
