Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for a teacher who will provide 1-to-1 private instruction in-person for a boy in 11th grade at his home using his online high school curriculum. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position assisting one student Monday-Friday from 8am-12pm that pays $50/hour ($1000/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the upcoming school year.

Looking for a teacher who can teach all 11th grade high school subjects using the student's online virtual school curriculum, while keeping the student engaged, learning, improving and hitting goals. Looking for a teacher who can fill the role of an academic mentor/life coach. The right teacher will also be creative and able to apply the provided education to real life situations.

Looking for a teacher with good organization skills, and the ability to monitor and assist with various subjects. Mainly, the teacher will teach the online subjects, provide general academic coaching, and overall engagement for accountability, time management and encouragement. Good communication skills and a team player mentality is a must.

BA/BS with prior professional experience teaching high school students in the classroom is required. Teacher certification and/or minimum 5 years full-time teaching experience is preferred. Must be comfortable assisting students with multiple subjects, study skills and time management.
