Teachers To Go is looking for an experienced elementary/middle school classroom teacher to assist with all core subjects in-person for three girls (ages 7, 10 & 13) at their home in West Lafayette IN 47906, Monday-Friday mornings (except Tuesdays off) from 9:30am-12:30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time homeschool teacher position that pays $40/hour. A female teacher is preferred since the students are female.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach and facilitate all subjects for three girls in grades 2, 5 and 7 respectively, using the family's classically-based homeschool curriculum. The teacher will collaborate with the parent, who will act as the co-teacher when the teacher is not there. The family is part of a homeschool co-op, and they use a combination of classical curricula with a Christian faith-based component.

The right teacher will be patient but focused, relaxed & somewhat flexible yet organized & detailed, respectful, and a good communicator. Looking for a teacher who is reactive to each student's needs, since the students will often be studying independently. Looking for a teacher whose schedule is a long-term fit for these kind of flexible morning hours. Ability to speak/teach French is a plus.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS, and a minimum of one year teaching experience in either a traditional classroom or a homeschool environment.
