Teachers To Go is looking for an experienced middle school/late elementary classroom teacher to teach all core subjects in-person for an 11 year old boy Monday - Friday from 9am-2pm at either his father's office in Windsor CT 06095 or his home in Simsbury CT 06070 . This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours (25 hours/week) teaching just one student that pays $60/hour ($1500/week) + $5,000 yearly health insurance stipend & 2 weeks paid vacation time.

Looking for a teacher who is fully qualified and able to teach and facilitate all subjects (especially English language arts and math) for grades 5 & 6 (grades 5-8 preferred) who will be responsible for teaching and overseeing accredited and structured curricula for a 13 year old boy. (The family is temporarily using IXL Learning for now, but is likely to change and is open to collaborating with the teacher about the curriculum used.)

The right teacher will be energetic, positive, encouraging and enthusiastic. Looking for a teacher who is organized and structured (has a plan) but not rigid, so the teacher can be reactive to the student and his needs. Looking for a teacher who is also patient and creative. BA/BS and two years minimum classroom teaching experience is required.

Requirements: BA or BS plus minimum two years of professional full-time classroom teaching experience at the late elementary or middle school level (preferably both) is required. Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, must be able to travel to the location of the student in person in Windsor CT 06095 or Simsbury CT 06070 Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm, must have good communication skills and be willing to collaborate with and report to the parents, must be willing to interview in person and remotely via live video chat.
