Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person late elementary to early middle school teacher for private home school tutoring Wednesday, Thursday & Friday afternoons 12pm-4pm at the family's office location in Plaza Square (Orange, CA 92866). The teacher will work as co-teacher with the homeschool mom (who teaches them the rest of the time), tutoring a 12 year old boy with his homeschool curriculum and his two younger sisters when time permits. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a private teaching position three afternoons a week that pays $75/hour ($900/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.

Looking for a teacher who is patient, energetic, innovative, and a good communicator. Some prior experience with minor learning challenges or special needs is a plus, but not required. Must be able to create a fun and encouraging learning environment.

This is a long-term teaching position for multiple subjects, mainly working with one student, but occasionally all three individually (one at a time) as needed. The teacher will work with the curriculum provided, and provide support to the mom as the main educator by helping plan, prep and set milestones/expectations for each student to achieve.

Requirements: must have prior self-contained professional classroom teaching experience, some prior experience with special needs and intervention work is preferred. Must be willing to collaborate with the parent and work with her as co-teacher using their preferred home school materials and curriculum.
