Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for a full-time homeschool teacher to provide 1-to-1 private instruction in all subjects in-person for a 13 year old boy in 7th grade at his home. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position teaching only one student Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm that pays $70k/year. This is an immediate opportunity for this school year.

Looking for a teacher who can teach all subjects but mainly focus on math and ELA, using the student's homeschool curriculum to help him catch up to grade level. The right teacher should have some prior experience (either inclusion or SPED) working with students who have mild ADHD & dyslexia. Looking for a teacher who is nice & friendly but firm when necessary, and structured yet reactive to the student. The right teacher will be enthusiastic & positive, patient & motivating, and able to keep the student engaged while holding him accountable.

Minimum of a BA/BS and 3 years professional classroom teaching experience teaching is required. Must be comfortable teaching and assisting students with all subjects at the late elementary through middle school level, as well as coaching/facilitating study skills and time management.
