Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person academic preschool teacher to teach a 3 year old boy and prepare him for kindergarten at his home. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a private homeschool position teaching only one student Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday mornings from 9am-1pm (with 1/2 hour lunch break) that pays $35/hour.

Looking for an early childhood academic preschool teacher who is kind, patient, enthusiastic, loves teaching and cares about the student. The right teacher will be able to provide all guidance and materials required to give the student a strong academic foundation, and teach him everything he needs to know for preschool and kindergarten preparation. Some prior experience with speech therapy is a plus, but not required.

Job functions will include creating lesson plans and educational activities appropriate for the student's age, assessing strengths & weaknesses, engaging the child, facilitating activities, and strengthening social & behavioral skills. Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA or AS (BA & education track preferred), and a minimum of two years professional lead preschool teaching experience in the classroom. State teacher certification is preferred.
