Teachers To Go is looking for a special education teacher who has experience teaching students with ADHD and dyslexia to teach all core subjects in-person to a 5th grade boy at his home in Healdsburg, CA 95448 Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings from 9am-12pm or 9am-1pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position teaching one student three mornings per week that pays $125/hour ($1500/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach and facilitate all subjects for boy in 5th grade with ADHD, dyslexia & dysgraphia, using his charter school & co-op curricula. (The family is using the provided curricula, but is also willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum is used.) The teacher will work alongside the parent to identify educational needs, teach and tutor all subjects, and review progress with the parent.

The right teacher will be experienced, engaging, motivating, positive, fun, creative, flexible, reactive to the student's needs, structured, and firm when needed. Looking for a teacher who is passionate about helping students with learning differences, and appreciative of those differences. Looking for a teacher who is reactive to each student's needs but can also provide structure with the curriculum used. Must be comfortable working with students who have ADHD, dyslexia and dysgraphia.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS and a minimum of three years professional teaching experience in either a special education or inclusion classroom. Requirements: BA/BS plus minimum three years professional full-time inclusion or SPED classroom teaching experience (state-certification is preferred) and prior experience teaching ADHD & dyslexic students is required. Must be comfortable teaching all subjects through 5th grade level. Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, and must be able to travel to the home of the student in person in Healdsburg, CA 95448 Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings (or 2 of those days) from 9am-12pm or 9am-1pm. Must have good communication skills and be willing to collaborate with the parent as the main teacher.
