Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person experienced full-time middle school classroom teacher to teach all core subjects to an 11 year old girl in 6th grade at her home in Newburgh IN 47630, Monday - Friday from 9am-2pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours (25 hours/week) teaching only 1 student that pays $50/hour ($1250/week). A female teacher is preferred, since the student is female. This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.

Looking for a teacher who is state-certified (any state) who is able to teach and facilitate all subjects for a girl in 6th grade who is dealing with emotional and anxiety issues. The teacher will be responsible for teaching and creating a customized curriculum aligned to state standards or using an existing curriculum that the teacher recommends if it is acceptable to the parent. (The family is open to collaborating with the teacher about which curriculum is used.) The teacher will be responsible for all filings, assessments and paperwork required for homeschool.

Looking for a teacher who is patient, flexible, engaging, inspiring and with great communication skills. The right teacher will be able to build trust and develop a good rapport with the student, while helping her catch up to grade level. Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS, and appropriate relevant teaching experience.
