Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person experienced full-time elementary/middle school classroom teacher to teach all core subjects to a boy in 4th grade and a girl in 6th grade at their home in Omaha, NE 68114, Monday - Friday from 9am-2pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours (25 hours/week) teaching only 2 students that pays $55,000/year + $5k health insurance stipend + paid time off during summer and holidays similar to a regular school year. This position begins in August 2024 for the upcoming school year.

Looking for a teacher who is fully qualified and able to teach and facilitate all subjects for 4th and 6th grade (grades K-8 preferred), who will be responsible for teaching and creating a customized curriculum that is aligned to state standards for both students. (The family is open to collaborating with the teacher about the curriculum.) The teacher will be responsible for all filings assessments and paperwork required for homeschool.

Looking for a teacher who is patient, energetic, engaging, and positive with an optimistic mindset. The right teacher will be willing to take the kids on education-related outings and field trips, and should be comfortable in a Christian environment. The teacher can request educational materials if needed and they will be supplied. The bottom floor of the house will be set up for school with a separate entrance.

Responsibilities include creating and implementing curricula aligned to state standards, teaching and guiding the children to learn from their curriculum, reviewing topics and assignments, assisting students with work, projects, test prep, papers, research, and documenting instructional time, assessing and filling in any learning gaps, reacting and adopting education to each individual child, and filling all state requirements for homeschool. Both are good students at or above grade level.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS, and appropriate relevant teaching experience. State certification is preferred, but not required. Looking for a long-term relationship with the right teacher. Candidates must be legally able to work in the US.
