Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person elementary teacher 2 days/week for 3 hours/day to teach all homeschool subjects to a girl in 3rd grade at her home in Colorado City, AZ 86021. This is a wonderful part-time opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position teaching one student two days a week that pays $50/hour (plus 2 hours/week admin time for total of $200/each visit).

The family is looking for an elementary teacher who has experience teaching children with anxiety. Some prior experience working with children who have special needs is preferred. The right teacher will be patient, kind, engaging, empathetic, able to build trust and reactive to the student. Looking for a teacher who is creative and good with hands-on learning. Parents are willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum is used.

BA or in the process of getting BA in education and minimum of at least one year of prior classroom teaching experience is required. Must be authorized to work in the US.
