Teachers To Go is looking for an experienced elementary classroom teacher to teach all 1st & 2nd grade core subjects in-person to a small class (limit of 10 students max) at a private homeschool campus on 20 acres in west Little Rock, AR 72223 Monday - Friday from 8am-3:30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position that pays $55,000/year to teach a class of only 8-10 students beginning on August 1st, with summer and holiday breaks off similar to most private schools.

Looking for a qualified teacher who is comfortable teaching a faith-based curriculum, and who is able to teach & facilitate all subjects for grades 1 & 2. The teacher will be responsible for teaching 8-10 students in both grades, and collaborating with the parents to create faith-based lessons drawing from multiple influences. (The homeschool parents will collaborate with the right teacher about the curriculum.) The teacher will communicate with the families on the students progress, and help to ensure that the students are on the same level academically as other private schools in the area.

The right teacher will be outdoor-oriented and comfortable teaching in a natural setting as well as the classroom. Looking for a good communicator who is comfortable multi-tasking both grades, and who is creative, consistent and reliable. Teacher applicants should be flexible with a positive demeanor & outlook, and be reactive to students' abilities & interests yet also organized. Looking for a teacher with a passion for teaching who is engaging and enjoys being outside, can think outside the box, and who genuinely cares about the whole student.

Teacher candidates should have or be very close to getting a degree in education, and have at least a minimum of two years classroom teaching experience. Looking for a long-term relationship with the right teacher. Candidates must be legally able to work in the US.
