Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person elementary teacher with experience teaching students who have ADHD to teach all core subjects to a 2nd grade boy at his home in Dallas, TX 75230 Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-12pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position in the morning teaching just one student that pays $60/hour. This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach and facilitate all homeschool subjects for a boy in 2nd grade with ADHD. (The family is willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum is used.) The teacher will work to identify educational needs, teach all subjects, and review progress with the parents.

The right teacher will be encouraging and reactive to the student’s learning difference (ADHD). Looking for a teacher who is patient yet stern, who can deal positively with high energy kids. (The teacher should be able to redirect and take quick breaks when appropriate.) The teacher should also be able to teach remotely online when the family is traveling (roughly 1 week per month). Looking for a teacher who is reactive to the student's needs, but who can also provide structure with the curriculum used and keep him moving forward. Must be experienced and comfortable working with students who have ADHD.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS and a minimum of two years professional teaching experience in either a special education or inclusion classroom. Requirements: BA/BS plus minimum two years professional inclusion or SPED classroom teaching experience working with students who have ADHD is required. Must be comfortable teaching all subjects at the 2nd grade level. Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, and must be able to travel to the home of the student in person in Dallas, TX 75230 Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-12pm.
