Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person middle school teacher with experience teaching students who have dyslexia & ADHD to teach all core subjects to an 8th grade girl at her home in Dallas, TX 75230 Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-12pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position in the morning teaching just one student that pays $60/hour. This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach and facilitate all subjects for a girl in 8th grade with ADHD and dyslexia in her home. (The family is willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum is used.) The teacher will work to identify educational needs, teach and tutor all subjects, and review progress with the parents. A female teacher is preferred since the student is female.

The right teacher will be encouraging and able to provide positive reinforcement, patient yet stern, proactive, and able to relate to a 14 year old student. Looking for a teacher who is passionate about helping students with learning differences, and appreciative of those differences. The teacher should be able to teach remotely online when the family is traveling (roughly 1 week per month). Looking for a teacher who is reactive to the student's needs, but who can also provide structure with the curriculum used and help her move forward. Must be comfortable working with students who have ADHD and dyslexia.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS and a minimum of three years professional teaching experience in either a special education or inclusion classroom. Requirements: BA/BS plus minimum three years professional inclusion or SPED classroom teaching experience and prior experience teaching ADHD & dyslexic students is required. Must be comfortable teaching all subjects through 8th grade level. Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, and must be able to travel to the home of the student in person in Dallas, TX 75230 Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-12pm.
