Teachers To Go is looking for a full-time high school teacher with strong science and/or math expertise to provide 1-to-1 private homeschool instruction in all subjects in-person for a 16 year old boy in 11th grade at his home. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours teaching one student Monday-Friday from 1pm-5pm that pays $75k/year + $5k Health Insurance Stipend. This is an immediate opportunity for this school year.

Looking for a teacher with strong math/science expertise who can also oversee and teach other 11th grade high school subjects using the student's homeschool curriculum. The right teacher will be able to keep the student engaged and learning while hitting goals. (Parents are open to collaborating with the right teacher regarding which curriculum or program is used.) Looking for a teacher who can fill the role of private high school teacher/guide to a 16 year old student in 11th grade who is gifted in science for all subjects.

The right teacher will be patient, enthusiastic, engaging, intelligent and creative in a way that can help a very smart student who gets bored easy enjoy learning. Looking for a teacher with good communication and organization skills. Must have the ability to monitor and assist with various subjects, and have a good understanding of upper level science and math. Mainly, the teacher will teach the subjects and provide general academic coaching in a way that is interesting for a gifted student.

Minimum of a BA/BS is required. Prior professional experience teaching and/or tutoring gifted high school students is a plus. Teacher certification and/or minimum 3 years full-time teaching experience is preferred. Must be comfortable teaching and assisting students with multiple subjects at the high school level. Must be willing to put in extra admin time outside of teaching hours for lesson planning and coming up with creative supplemental projects that challenge the student.
