Teachers To Go is looking for a homeschool teacher to provide 1-to-1 private instruction in-person teaching three core high school subjects (ELA, SS & Science) to a girl in 9th grade at her home. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours teaching only one student Monday-Friday mornings from 8am-12pm that pays $75/hour ($1500/week). This is an immediate opportunity for this school year. A female teacher is preferred, since the student is female.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach and facilitate English Language Arts, Social Studies and Science for a smart girl in 9th grade with extreme social anxiety. (The family is willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum is used.) The teacher will work to identify educational needs, teach and tutor all three subjects, and review progress with the parents. Prior full-time classroom experience teaching at the high school level is preferred, but not required.

The right teacher will be compassionate, calm, patient, encouraging and easy to talk to. Prior experience working with students who have social emotional needs is preferred. Good communication and the ability to establish a rapport with and relate to a 14-15 year old female student is essential. Looking for a teacher who is reactive to the student's needs, and who can provide structure with the curriculum used.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS and a minimum of two years professional teaching experience. (State-certification is preferred, but not required.) Teachers To Go has been offering classroom teachers private job opportunities with flexible scheduling and competitive pay since 2007.

Requirements: Minimum BA/BS plus two years professional teaching experience is required. Must be comfortable teaching ELA, SS & Science at the 9th grade level.
