Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an experienced state-certified elementary teacher to teach all subjects in-person for a five year old girl at her home in Cincinnati, OH 45233. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours: M-Th 9am-1pm (20 hours/week) that pays $60k/year. A female teacher is preferred since the student is female.

A minimum BA degree and state teacher certification (any state) is required, along with a minimum of one year prior teaching experience. Must be comfortable teaching, lesson planning, overseeing and filing with the state all core subjects from kindergarten through 2nd grade.

The family is looking for a full-time homeschool teacher for their daughter to recommend and teach using an existing curriculum that aligns to state standards, or to create a customized curriculum that aligns to state standards. (The parents are willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum is used.)

Looking for a teacher who is bright, energetic, engaging, understanding, compassionate, committed and goal-oriented. The right teacher will have both good communication and a good temperament, as well as a sense of humor. Looking for a teacher who would also enjoy occasionally taking the student on education-related field trips (like trips to the museum, etc).

Looking for a long-term teacher who is a self-starter who can take over and be responsible for the complete homeschool education of this child, be responsible for all filings with the state, and communicate and update the parents on a regular basis. Pay may increase yearly with curriculum complexity for the right long-term teacher, and paid time off similar to a public or private school is included (holiday weeks, etc).
