Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person part-time private elementary teacher to teach all core subjects and provide ISEE prep tutoring this summer for a 7 year old girl going into 2nd grade at her home in Cypress, TX 77433 for 3 hours a day, 2 days a week (afternoons from 12-3pm or mornings from 9am-12pm). This is a wonderful opportunity for the right elementary teacher: a part-time summer teaching/tutoring position with flexible hours working with a 7 year old girl that pays $50/hour. A female teacher is preferred since the student is female. Must be home for the majority of the summer.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach all subjects and tutor ISEE prep for a girl going into 2nd grade. (Reading comprehension needs the most work, but will need assistance with writing and math as well.) The teacher will assess and help strengthen all subjects, work to identify educational needs, prepare the child for an academically competitive private school 2nd grade environment, and review progress with the parents.

The right teacher will be friendly, engaging, fun yet focused, and able to relate to a vibrant 7 year old girl. Looking for a teacher who is state-certified, and who can monitor and align with Cy-Fair 2nd grade curriculum standards. The teacher should also be able to help increase the student’s ability to prepare for and optimize test scores on the ISEE exam.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA and Texas state teacher certification. (A minimum of 3 years teaching experience is preferred.)
