Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person private special education teacher with ELA expertise this summer for a 13 year old boy with ADHD and autism at his home in Georgetown, TX 78628 Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-12pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time summer teaching position that pays $60/hour ($900/week). Must be available for the majority of the summer.

Looking for a teacher with special education experience who is able to teach ELA reading comprehension and writing along with other academic subjects this summer to a 13 year old boy with high-functioning autism and ADHD. (Reading comprehension needs the most work, but will also need assistance with writing skills, building vocabulary, and other academic subjects as well. The goal is to help him get to grade level 5-6.) The teacher will assess and help strengthen all subjects, work to identify educational needs, and review progress with the parents.

The right teacher will be fun, creative, engaging, reliable, committed, and reactive to the needs of the student. Looking for a teacher with vibrant energy who is a good communicator and also is flexible with taking strategic breaks. (The teacher can recommend supplies, curricula and materials, and parents will purchase and provide. They prefer using physical books when possible, and would like to utilize the classics.)

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA and Texas state teacher certification. (A minimum of 1 year special education teaching experience is required. ELA expertise is preferred.)
