Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person middle school/elementary teacher to homeschool a 12 year old boy in 7th grade, a 10 year old boy in 6th grade, and an 8 year old girl in 3rd grade at their home in 47850 south of Terre Haute IN. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a private homeschool position Tuesday-Thursday mornings from 8am-1pm that pays $60/hour ($900/week). This opportunity has a flexible start date. The teacher can start any time and work during the summer if/when available continuing into the fall.

Looking for a middle school/elementary teacher who is intentional, structured, reactive to each student’s abilities and needs, and good at problem solving. The right teacher will be a team player who is comfortable teaching all subjects up through the middle school level, and is able to focus on progress. Some prior elementary level reading recovery or intervention experience is preferred. (The parents are willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum is used.)

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA, and at least 2 years teaching experience. State certification is preferred, but not required. Teachers To Go has been offering classroom teachers private teaching job opportunities with flexible scheduling and competitive pay since 2007.
