Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person middle school/elementary teacher to homeschool an 11 year old girl in 6th grade, a 9 year old boy in 5th grade, and a 7 year old girl in 2nd grade at their home in Kirkland, WA 98033. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher, a full-time position with part-time hours: Monday-Friday mornings from 8am-12:30pm that pays $100/hour ($2,250/week) + paid federal holidays. This opportunity begins on September 2nd for the upcoming fall 2025/spring 2026 school year.

Looking for a middle school/elementary teacher who is intentional, structured, reactive to each student’s abilities and needs, and good at problem solving. The right teacher will be a team player who is comfortable teaching all subjects up through the 7th grade level. (The parents are willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum is used.)

The right teacher will be kind, patient, warm, smart, and able to find the right balance between fun and focused (ie: proactive and able to keep all three students on track). Prior experience with gifted students and students with dyslexia is preferred, but not required. Looking for a teacher who loves teaching, and is flexible and reactive to the needs of the student.

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA, and at least 3 years professional classroom teaching experience. State certification and some prior special education experience is preferred (gifted and dyslexia would be ideal), but not required.
