Teachers To Go is looking for a full-time in-person elementary homeschool teacher to provide private instruction in all subjects for a 10 year old boy in 4th grade at his home (and sometimes nearby library) in Sarasota, FL 34242. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position teaching and facilitating supplemental activities for one student Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm that pays $85k/year + paid time off. This opportunity is for the upcoming fall 2025/26 school year, and has a flexible start date. The teacher can start any time in July or August and work during the summer if/when available continuing into the fall.

Looking for a teacher who is experienced, enthusiastic, fun but firm, positive, inspiring, and engaging with a sense of humor. The right teacher will be creative, flexible, and reactive to the needs of the student. The teacher must be able to develop a good rapport with the student, and should enjoy planning education-related outings and at times teaching outdoors. Physically active is a plus. The teacher should be able to create/aggregate a customized curriculum and collaborate with the parent. (The student has currently been homeschooled for the past year.)

The right teacher will be comfortable teaching all subjects at the 4th grade level, and have at least two years prior teaching experience. Looking for a teacher who is able to relate to and keep up with an energetic 10 year old boy on a daily basis. State-certification is preferred and some prior homeschool teaching experience is a plus. Requirements: must have at least a BA and a minimum of 2 years teaching experience. State teacher certification (any state) is preferred, and some prior homeschool teaching experience is a plus. (Ability to participate in physical activities with the student is also a plus.) Must be able to teach all subjects comfortably through 4th grade and be able to create/aggregate and teach a customized curriculum, must be willing to collaborate with the parents and provide regular updates, must have a good driving record and cell phone, must be able to teach in person at the home of the student in Sarasota FL 34242 Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm, must be willing to interview via live video chat and in person in Sarasota FL 34242.
