Teachers To Go is looking for a part-time in-person special education teacher to teach a physically disabled 12 year old boy and his 6 year old sister at their home in Merrimac, WI 53561 on Monday-Friday mornings from 8:30am-12:30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time morning position teaching two students that pays $65/hour ($1300/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.

Looking for a teacher who is able to create and teach a customized IEP based on his own interests for a 12 year old boy who is mentally and physically disabled, and also teach a more standard curriculum to a 6 year old girl going into 1st grade. (The family is willing to collaborate with the teacher about the IEP and curricula.) Some prior experience working with physically disabled students is a plus, but not required. The teacher will work to identify educational and other needs, and review progress with the parents.

The right teacher will be energetic, engaging, creative, and fun but focused (able to keep both kids on track). Looking for a teacher who is encouraging and able to provide positive reinforcement who has the right balance (ie: a teacher who is fun but not a pushover).

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS, and a minimum of two years professional teaching experience in either a special education or inclusion classroom teaching students with special needs.
