Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person elementary teacher with ASD & ADHD experience to teach all core subjects to a boy in 3rd grade at his home in South Pasadena, CA 91030. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right special education teacher: a part-time position Monday-Friday mornings from 8am-11am teaching one student that pays $100/hour ($1,500/week). This opportunity begins in August for the upcoming fall 25/26 school year.

Looking for a special education teacher who is able to teach and facilitate all subjects for a smart boy in 3rd grade with ADHD and high-functioning autism in his home using his private school curriculum. (The family will provide access to the curriculum used, but is also willing to collaborate with the right teacher about any additional materials & techniques that the teacher recommends to supplement.) The teacher will work with the student to identify educational needs, teach all subjects, and review progress with the parents.

Looking for a teacher who is energetic, experienced, engaging, fun yet firm, patient, motivating with a warm personality, and reactive to the student’s needs and abilities. Prior reading specialist training such as Lindamood Bell or Orton-Gillingham is preferred, but not required. The right teacher will be able to break things down into segments (digestible bites) and also include creative hands-on learning. Must be comfortable working with young students with ADHD and high-functioning autism.

Teacher candidates must be state-certified with at least a BA and a minimum of two years professional teaching experience in either a special education or inclusion classroom.
