Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person special education teacher for a 13 year old girl in 7th grade (roughly 4th grade level) to teach all core subjects at the teacher’s location or other meeting place within 30 minutes from Kyle, TX 78640. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right special education teacher: a part-time position Monday-Thursday mornings 9am-11am teaching one student at your location that pays $35/hour. This is an immediate opportunity for the upcoming fall 25/26 school year.

Looking for a special education teacher who is able to teach homeschool and facilitate all subjects for a 13 year old girl with a learning disability due to a brain tumor. (The family is willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum will be used.) The teacher will work with the student M-Th mornings at the teacher’s location or another mutually agreed location within 30 miles from Kyle, TX 78640. The teacher will identify educational needs, teach all subjects, and review progress with the parents.

Looking for a teacher who is patient and engaging with an outgoing personality, who can relate to a 13 year old girl. Prior reading specialist training such as Lindamood Bell or Orton-Gillingham is preferred, but not required. The right teacher will be understanding of and reactive to the student’s abilities, and will be able to break things down into segments (digestible bites) while including creative hands-on learning.

Teacher candidates must be have at least a BA and a minimum of one year professional teaching experience in either a special education or inclusion classroom.
