Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person state-certified school teacher to homeschool a girl in 4th grade and a boy in 7th grade at their home in Lakewood, CO 80215 for the fall 25/26 school year. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time morning teaching position Monday-Thursdays 8am-11am that pays $45/hour ($540/week). This opportunity is for the current upcoming fall 25/26 school year, beginning in mid-August.

The teacher will privately teach two children (a girl and a boy in 4th and 7th grade), assisting each one separately with their virtual curriculum and adding creative supplemental teaching to enhance the curriculum, while the other one is working alone or with the mom. Must be able to collaborate closely with the parent as co-teacher to make plans, but also be versatile and flexible.

Colorado state-certified classroom teachers are preferred, but we will also consider classroom teachers who are certified in other states. Candidates must have professional teaching experience, and must be creative and able to challenge, engage and inspire students of this age group. Looking for a teacher with positive energy and flexibility, who can collaborate with the parent to provide a strong learning environment that will challenge and inspire both students.

Requirements: Must have CO or other state teacher certification to teach in the classroom. Prior self-contained classroom teaching experience and prior experience with 1-to-1 intervention work is preferred. Must have a degree of technical competence and computer skills. Prior experience with virtual learning is preferred. Must be able to teach all subjects through the 7th grade level, and must be willing to work with two students in 4th & 7th grades in-person at their home using their Connections Academy virtual school curriculum. Must have good communication skills and be willing to collaborate with the parent. Must have your own reliable transportation & cell phone and must be willing to travel to the home of the students in Lakewood, CO 80215 Monday-Thursday from 8am-11am beginning in mid-August.
