Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person part-time homeschool teacher to teach all core subjects to a smart boy in 6th grade with ADHD at his home in Chattanooga, TN 37379 Monday-Friday mornings 8am-12pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time morning homeschool teaching position that pays $50/hour ($1000/week). This opportunity is for the upcoming fall 2025/26 school year.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach all subjects to a boy in 6th grade with ADHD. He is at or above grade level in all subjects, and very good at math. (The parents are willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum is used, as long as it is accredited.) The teacher will teach all subjects, work to identify educational needs, and review progress with the parents.

Looking for a teacher who is patient, kind & friendly, able to listen, engaging and interactive. The right teacher will be friendly, fun and caring, yet firm enough so that the student knows he has to do his work. (He will need to trust the teacher, so relationship is key.) Would prefer a teacher who is reactive to the student’s needs and abilities. A creative science-minded teacher who loves to explore is a plus.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA and some prior experience working with students with ADHD, along with a minimum of one year teaching experience.
