Teachers To Go is looking for a part-time in-person special education teacher to teach a 4 year old boy and his two year old sister who both have autism at their home in Lexington Park, MD 20653 Monday-Thursday mornings from 9am-12pm (or 8am-11am). This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time morning position teaching two students that pays $60/hour ($720/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current fall 2025/26 school year.

Looking for an experienced special education teacher who is able to teach/homeschool two children with autism (separately). The family is willing to collaborate with the teacher about the curricula and methodology. The teacher will work to identify educational and other development, and review progress with the parents.

The right teacher will be positive, capable, comfortable with both kids and adults, and reactive to the needs of each student. Looking for a teacher who also likes teaching outside at times, and genuinely enjoys teaching and helping kids with learning differences. A teacher who enjoys music is preferred, and actual musical ability is a plus.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS, and a minimum of five years teaching experience either with special education or inclusion teaching students with learning differences. Requirements: BA/BS and minimum five years teaching experience which must include some experience working with students who have special needs is required. Prior experience working with autistic students and state teacher certification is preferred. Some musical ability is a plus. Must be comfortable teaching two children (4 & 2 years old) with autism.
