Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person part-time homeschool teacher to tutor 4th & 5th grade level math, reading & writing for a smart 8 year old boy with ADHD at his home in Mclean, VA 22102 on Friday mornings. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time homeschool teaching position on Fridays that pays $100/hour. This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach/tutor upper elementary/lower middle school level math and reading, plus other lower elementary level ELA/writing skills on Friday mornings to a smart 8 year old boy with ADHD. He is at or above grade level in all subjects, and very good at math (he naturally enjoys it) and reading. (He is now reading Harry Potter at 8 years old.) The Friday tutoring will be supplemental to his regular homeschool work.

Looking for a teacher who is patient and passionate about teaching and helping kids. The right teacher will be flexible and reactive to the student (ie: know when to push and when to hold back and/or take a break). Looking for a teacher who is kind and giving, yet firm enough to set boundaries.

Teacher candidates should be state certified in VA, MD or DC, and have at least a BA and minimum 3 years of teaching experience, with some prior experience working with students with ADHD. Requirements: Minimum BA and state teacher certification in either VA, MD or DC, plus a minimum of 3 years teaching experience. At least some of the teaching experience should include working with students with ADHD. Teacher applicants should have the ability to teach math and reading through the 6th grade level. Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, and must be able to travel to the home of the student in person in Mclean VA 22102 on Friday mornings.
