Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person professional & experienced late elementary classroom teacher to teach all core subjects to four homeschool children preschool-5th grade (one boy & three girls ages 4-11) at their home in Menlo Park, CA 94027 Monday - Friday from 10am-3pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position that pays $100,000/year.

Looking for a full-time elementary to early middle school classroom teacher who is fully qualified and able to teach and facilitate all core subjects for grades pre-K through 5th, who will be responsible for implementing and overseeing a homeschool curriculum for all four students. Responsibilities include teaching and guiding the children to learn from parent-approved curricula. (The parents are open to collaborating with the teacher about the curriculum, but it will likely be Christian-based.)

The teacher will also review homeschool topics and assignments, assist students with work, projects, test prep, papers, research, document instructional time, assess the students and fill in any learning gaps, and react and adopt the homeschool education to each individual child. (At times some or all of the kids can be taught together when appropriate, but most of the academic subjects will be separate due to the separate levels.)

The right teacher will be friendly but professional, discreet, punctual, organized, and have excellent communication skills with both parents and children. Looking for a teacher who can be comfortable in a Christian environment and is able to commit to at least a two year contract. Some prior homeschool experience is preferred, but not required. (A separate area on the property will be designated where the homeschool education will take place.)

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA or BS (specifically in education is preferred) and at least three years of professional teaching experience. State teacher certification is preferred, but not required. Some prior homeschool teaching experience is a plus. Looking for a long-term relationship with the right teacher. (If it is the right fit, teacher should be able to commit to at least a two year contract.)
