Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person homeschool teacher to teach all core subjects to four students 1st-10th grade (two girls & two boys ages 7-16) at their home in Raleigh, NC 27614 Monday - Friday from 9am-3pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position teaching 4 students that pays $60,000/year + $5k health insurance stipend and paid time off similar to a regular public or private school.

Looking for a full-time homeschool teacher who is able to teach and facilitate all core subjects from grades 1-10, who will be responsible for implementing and overseeing a homeschool curriculum for all four students. Responsibilities include teaching and guiding the children to learn from the parent-approved curriculum. (The parents are open to collaborating with the teacher about which curriculum is used, but it will be Christian Classical.)

The teacher will review homeschool topics and assignments, projects, test prep, papers and research, document instructional time, assess students, fill in any learning gaps, and react and adopt the homeschool education to each individual child. (At times some or all of the kids can be taught together if/when appropriate, but most of the time academic subjects will be taught to each child separately due to the different levels.)

The right teacher will be kind but stern with younger energy, patient with a sense of humor, and flexible/reactive to each student’s abilities. Looking for a teacher who genuinely cares about each student’s development, who can be comfortable in a Classical Christian education environment. Teacher applicants should be able to teach remotely when the family is traveling, or possibly travel with them at times at the teacher’s option.

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA or BS (specifically in education is preferred) and be comfortable teaching in a Christ-centered environment. Ability to teach all subjects from 1st-10th grade is required. At least two years of professional teaching experience and state teacher certification are preferred, but not required. Prior Classical Christian education experience with ability to teach Latin is a plus.
