Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person private special education teacher for a 14 year old boy with ADHD and high- functioning autism in Georgetown, TX 78626 Monday-Friday mornings from 8am-1pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours that pays $60/hour ($1500/week) + a $5k bonus every 12 months. This is an immediate opportunity for the current 2025/26 school year.

Looking for a teacher with special education experience who is able to teach ELA reading comprehension and writing along with all other academic subjects to a 14 year old boy with high-functioning autism and ADHD. Reading comprehension needs the most work, but will also need assistance with writing skills, building vocabulary, and other academic subjects as well. (The family is willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum will be used, but it will likely be Christian-based.) The teacher will assess and help strengthen all subjects, work to identify educational needs, and review progress with the parents.

The right teacher will be fun, creative, engaging, reliable, committed, and reactive to the needs of the student. Looking for a teacher with vibrant energy who is a good communicator, and who also is flexible with taking strategic breaks. (The teacher can recommend supplies and materials. They prefer using physical books when possible, and would like to utilize the classics.)

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA and state teacher certification (any state). A minimum of 1 year special education teaching experience is required, and SPED certification is preferred.
