Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person homeschool teacher to teach all core subjects to two girls (ages 15 & 13) in 7th & 9th grade at their home in Vero Beach, FL 32963 Monday - Friday from 9am-3pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position teaching 2 students that pays $75,000/year with paid time off similar to a regular public or private school. A female teacher is preferred, since the students are female.

Looking for a full-time homeschool teacher who is able to teach and facilitate all core subjects from grades 7-10, who will be responsible for implementing and overseeing a homeschool curriculum for both students. Responsibilities include teaching and guiding the students to learn from the parent-approved curriculum. (The parents are open to collaborating with the teacher about which curriculum is used, but it will be accredited and the goal is college-bound prep.)

The teacher will review homeschool topics and assignments, projects, test prep, papers and research, document instructional time, assess the students, fill in any learning gaps, and react and adopt the homeschool education to each individual. (Both students are about one year ahead of grade level.) The right teacher will be fun, engaging, patient, positive and consistent. Looking for a teacher who is even-keeled and reliable, who can connect with and relate to a 15 and 13 year old girl. Ideally the teacher would be experienced but with younger energy, patient with a sense of humor, and flexible/reactive to each student’s abilities.

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA or BS (specifically in education is preferred), state certification (any state), and at least 3 years of teaching experience.
