Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person homeschool teacher for a girl in 6th grade to teach basic academic subjects and Spanish in San Clemente, CA 92673. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position Monday-Thursday mornings 8:30am-12:30pm teaching one student that pays $75/hour ($1200/week). A female teacher is preferred, since the student is female. This is an immediate opportunity for the current 2025/26 school year.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach homeschool and facilitate all core subjects and Spanish for a girl in 6th grade. (The family is willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum will be used.) The teacher will assess and identify educational needs, teach core academic subjects and beginner Spanish, and review progress with the parents.

Looking for a teacher with a sense of humor who is motivational and engaging, with younger energy. The right teacher will have a good balance between not being too strict, yet also not a pushover and able to keep the student on track. Looking for a teacher who is encouraging, and able to communicate and develop a rapport with an early teenage girl. Ideally, the right teacher will also be able to connect many lessons to real life scenarios for a strong life skills foundation.

Teacher candidates must be have at least a BA and a minimum of two years teaching experience, and the ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently.
