Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person classroom teacher to teach all core subjects to two kids (9 &11 years old) at their home in Destin, FL 32541. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time homeschool position Monday - Friday from 8am-2:30pm that pays $75,000/year. This is an immediate opportunity, but the start date can be flexible for the right teacher.

Looking for an intelligent, full-time classroom teacher who is fully qualified and able to teach all subjects from late elementary through early high school. (Ability to teach math at least through Algebra II is preferred.) The teacher will be responsible for implementing and overseeing a competitive college prep curriculum for both students chosen by the parents. They are open to collaborating with the teacher about supplemental education-related activities and projects, but they will be using the ESA (Episcopal School of Acadiana) curriculum for the basic foundation.

The teacher will review topics and assignments, assess the students, and fill in any learning gaps needed to create a strong academic foundation. Taking short education-related excursions at times, and being able to engage the students and keep up with them physically is also important. A teacher who can be available for occasional travel (all expenses paid) is a plus.

The right teacher will be confident, meticulous, intelligent and engaging. Looking for a teacher who is serious about education, yet overall laid back with a sense of humor. Prior experience teaching a classical curriculum and/or AP classes is preferred, and a math or science background is a plus.

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA or BS (a background in math or science is preferred but not required), and at least 4 years of professional teaching experience. State teacher certification is preferred, but not required. Prior experience teaching AP classes and/or a classical or similar type of traditional college prep program is preferred.
