Teachers To Go is looking for a full-time remote state-certified (any state) virtual elementary classroom teacher to teach all core subjects to four homeschooled children (preK–3rd grade) and partner with the mom who will be teaching in person. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time remote online teaching position Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm that pays $100,000/year. Please note: although the position is online remote only, the teacher will be required to travel (all expenses paid) and work with the family in person 2-4 times per year for one week at times that work for both parties. The start date is flexible, beginning April, May or June of this current school year.

The full-time private teacher will homeschool four students online for a family that lives in and travels frequently between three states. The teacher will teach the four children and collaborate and partner with the mom, who will also be teaching them in person. The teacher will be responsible for implementing and overseeing homeschool curricula for all four students that addresses each child’s learning style and aligns with the family’s values. (The parents are willing to collaborate with the teacher regarding which different curricula will be used, however some of the curricula may be faith-based.)

Looking for a teacher who is caring, compassionate, patient, flexible, focused and dedicated, who will teach to the whole child. The right teacher will want to cultivate the students’ passions and help the children learn the “why” behind the “what.” The family values responsibility, respect and commitment, but they also want the children to have the flexibility to explore and engage through play-based learning and experiences, including travel. (Due to the family’s travel schedule, the teacher will need to be flexible about the schedule at times.)

Candidates should have strong experience, communication and organizational skills, and be adaptable to multiple learning styles. Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA and state teacher certification (any state), and at least 5 years of teaching experience working with elementary students. Requirements: Minimum BA, state teaching license (any state), and minimum 5 years teaching experience working with elementary students. Must be well-organized, tech-savvy enough to teach remotely, and available to teach online Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm. Must be able to travel to the family (all expenses paid) and work with the children in person for one week 2-4 times per year, at times that work for the teacher and the family. Must be comfortable working with a faith-based curriculum if chosen by the family. Must have good communication skills and be willing to interview via live video chat, and in person at the location of the family if requested (all expenses paid).
