Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person Virginia-certified elementary teacher to homeschool a 5 year old boy at his home in Arlington, VA 22207. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time morning position teaching just one student Monday-Thursday mornings from 8:30am-12:30pm that pays $65/hour ($1,040/week).

Looking for an elementary teacher who is calm, even-tempered, patient and understanding. The right teacher will be able to teach all core subjects from kindergarten through 4th grade. (The parents are willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum is used, but it will align with state standards.) The additional ability to teach and speak Spanish is plus, but not required.

Applicants should have a minimum Bachelor’s degree, Virginia state teacher certification, and at least four years of classroom teaching experience working with early elementary-aged children. Requirements
Must have a minimum of 4 years classroom teaching experience working with early elementary-aged children and at least a Bachelor’s degree. Must have Virginia state teacher certification, and must be comfortable teaching all core subjects from kindergarten through 4th grade in a homeschool environment. Ability to also teach and speak Spanish is a plus, but not required. Must have your own reliable transportation & cell phone, and must travel to the home of the student in Arlington, VA 22207 Monday-Thursday mornings from 8:30am-12:30pm.
