Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is seeking a Virginia-certified elementary teacher to provide in-person homeschool instruction for a 5-year-old boy in Gordonsville, VA 22942. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work one-on-one with a boy in kindergarten on Monday-Thursday mornings from 8:30am-12:30pm, and the role is ideal for an experienced teacher looking for a flexible morning schedule. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time morning position with Fridays off, teaching only one student that pays $65/hour ($1,040/week).

The ideal candidate is a patient, calm, and compassionate educator who can create a positive learning environment while teaching all core elementary subjects from kindergarten through third grade. Parents are open to working collaboratively with the teacher when selecting a curriculum, provided it aligns with Virginia state standards. Additional fluency and ability to teach Spanish language is a plus, but is not required.

Qualified applicants must possess at least a Bachelor's degree and hold an active Virginia teaching license. Candidates must also have a minimum of four years classroom experience teaching young elementary students.
