Teachers To Go is looking for a certified early childhood teacher to privately tutor a 4 year old girl in person at the teacher’s location or a nearby library. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time after school or evening position tutoring in your own home that pays $100/hour, two days a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays or Fridays anytime from 5pm-8pm tutoring only one student.
Looking for a certified early childhood expert elementary teacher with classroom experience who is able to help a 4 year old girl improve her reading and math skills. The right teacher will be able to use her own effective and proven methods to teach the student to read and do basic math, as well as working with the student’s curriculum from her private school. Applicants should be able to assess and meet the student where she is, then help her improve and feel more confident about her abilities.
The right teacher will be youthful and energetic, patient, enthusiastic, jovial, and kind. Looking for a teacher who is willing to explore and imagine to connect with a 4 year old girl who enjoys school, puzzles and games. Qualified candidates should be able to help the student improve her reading and math skills using methods that are engaging, creative and fun.
Minimum BA and state teacher certification are required, along with a minimum of 2 years professional teaching experience working with young students in a classroom setting. Science of reading, structured literacy, or other reading specialist background is preferred, but not required. Looking for an experienced teacher with good communication who is reactive to the student’s abilities and who will collaborate with the parents.
Requirements: BA in Early Childhood Education or a related field and state teacher certification, along with a minimum of two years professional classroom teaching experience is required. Reading/literacy specialist experience is preferred. Must be able to deliver customized private tutoring in reading and math for a 4 year old student and find creative ways to make it interesting. Must be able to meet with the student either at your location or a nearby library two days a week on either Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays for one hour each between the hours of 5pm and 8pm.
