Teachers To Go is looking for an elementary classroom teacher to homeschool a 5 year old girl with a speech delay at her home in Katy, TX 77450 Monday-Thursday from either 4pm-6pm or 10am-12pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right elementary teacher: a part-time homeschool position teaching only one student that pays $65/hour for 2 hours daily Monday-Thursday ($520/week). A female teacher is preferred, since the student is female. This is an immediate opportunity for the current 2026/27 school year.

Looking for an early elementary teacher who is able to teach reading, math and other subjects to a 5 year old girl using the parents’ chosen homeschool curriculum. The teacher will be using Enlightium Academy and must be comfortable using this faith-based curriculum, but also supplementing with Direct Instruction for speech and reading. The teacher will collaborate and provide regular progress reports to the parents.

The right teacher will be patient, engaging, creative and innovative, and able to connect and work well with the student. Looking for a teacher who is dynamic and reactive to the student, yet organized and can provide structure. The right teacher will genuinely enjoy kids, and should be comfortable working in 15 minute blocks with short breaks in between. Looking for a teacher with a strong education background who is committed to the development of the student. Teacher candidates should have at least a BA, and a minimum of two years of professional elementary teaching experience in the classroom. Applicants should also have at least some prior experience working with children who have learning differences. State certification is preferred, but not required.

Requirements: Minimum BA and at least 2 years of professional elementary classroom teaching experience. Must have some prior experience teaching children with learning differences, and must be comfortable teaching all subjects using a faith-based curriculum in a homeschool environment. Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, and must be able to travel to teach the student in person in Katy, TX 77450 Monday-Thursday for 2 hours daily, either from 10am-12pm or 4pm-6pm. Must have good communication skills, and must be willing to interview in person in Katy, TX 77450 and remotely via live video chat.
