Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person bilingual English/Spanish elementary classroom teacher to homeschool two advanced children (a 6 year old girl in 1st grade & 4 year old boy in pre-K/kinder) Monday-Friday afternoons from 2:30pm-5:30pm in Venice, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right elementary teacher: a part-time homeschool teaching position for three hours in the afternoon teaching two students that pays $80/hour ($1200/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current 2026/27 school year.
Looking for an elementary teacher who is able to teach all core subjects in both Spanish and English, who will partner with the parents to co-create and aggregate homeschool curricula for the children. We are looking for a teacher to fill in and strengthen each child’s academic foundation, while also expanding on each child’s interests and abilities. (Both children need to be challenged, and they both enjoy hands-on creative learning.)
The right teacher will be engaging, curious (also a learner), and genuinely interested in each child’s uniqueness, as well as reactive to their abilities. In addition to delivering and helping the parents create and aggregate homeschool curricula, the teacher will also be responsible for taking the kids on education-related excursions and other extra-curricular endeavors. (The teacher can use a vehicle provided by the family, and can also use the beach and area around the family’s house as part of “the classroom.”) Teacher candidates should have at least a BA, and a minimum of one year of professional elementary teaching experience in the classroom. Applicants must be bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. State teaching certification is preferred, but not required.

Must be comfortable taking the children on education-related excursions and driving them to and from activities during work hours. Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, and must be able to travel to the location of the students in Venice, CA 90291 Monday-Friday afternoons from 2:30pm-5:30pm.
