Teachers To Go is looking for an ELN or ELL certified elementary school teacher to tutor a 7 year old girl in 1st grade in person for five hours a week on Mondays & Tuesdays at 5pm, Wednesdays at 7pm, and Saturdays at either 10am or 5pm at her home in Blauvelt, NY 10913. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right ENL/ELL expert elementary school teacher: a part-time position in the late afternoon/early evening that pays $100/hour ($500/week). A female teacher is preferred since the student is female. This is an immediate opportunity.

The teacher will privately tutor the 7 year old girl, assisting her with her overall English skills and supplementing her school curriculum to increase her academic foundation and understanding of all of her subjects in English. Teacher applicants must be state-certified to teach elementary with a minimum of two years classroom teaching experience, and must have relevant professional ELL or ENL teaching and/or tutoring experience. Teacher applicants should be comfortable tutoring the English language, and all 1st grade subject matter to a 7 year old girl using the student's 1st grade curriculum. Teacher should also be familiar with the NYSESLAT test.

Requirements: BA, state teacher certification, and a minimum of 2 years prior self-contained elementary classroom teaching experience is required with relevant ELN or ELL expertise.
