Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person elementary teacher to teach two boys (an 8 yr old in 3rd grade and a 6 yr old in kindergarten) and catch them up to grade level at their home in Katy TX 77450 . This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a private homeschool teaching position teaching only two students Monday-Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm that pays $40/hour ($1200/week).

Looking for a teacher who is patient, focused, energetic, engaging, and comfortable teaching a non-religious academically-focused curriculum. (Parent will choose the curriculum, but may be open to collaborating with the right teacher.) Looking for an experienced teacher who can align curricula with state standards and make sure both children are moving forward. The right teacher should be able to redirect the students to keep them focused, meet them where they are, and then push them to where they can go.

Teacher candidates should have BA or BS (education track preferred), state certification, and a minimum of two years professional elementary teaching experience in the classroom. Responsibilities include teaching and guiding both children to learn from parent-approved curriculum.
