Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person private teacher to homeschool a 5.5 year old boy at his home in Phoenix, AZ 85018. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position in the mornings teaching just one student Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm that pays $65/hour ($1300/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.

Looking for a teacher to plan and implement daily lessons across all core subjects and be responsible for all homeschool filings for a smart and focused almost 6 year old boy who loves math, science and learning in general. (The parents are willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum is used, but the curriculum will most likely be Christian-based.)

The right teacher will be patient, engaging and amazing with kids, loving, kind and creative. Looking for a teacher who understands strong academics, but will also implement fun, hands-on education-related activities that challenge and inspire. The teacher should be interested in taking education-related trips (museums, etc.), as well as helping to find supplemental homeschool groups. Looking for a proactive self-starter who can communicate with the family and then run the whole show. (The student has food allergies, so the teacher must also be respectful of that and be comfortable in a very health conscious environment.)

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA and at least 2 years of teaching experience. State-certification and/or some prior homeschool experience is a plus, but not required. Must be comfortable teaching using a Christian-based curriculum, and must be respective of food allergies in a health conscious environment. Requirements
Must have at least a BA and 2 years of teaching experience. State-certification and/or prior homeschool experience is a plus, but not required. Must be comfortable teaching all elementary subjects. Must be responsible for all homeschool filings and requirements. Must have your own reliable transportation & cell phone, and must travel to the location of the student in Phoenix, AZ 85018 Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm.
