Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person 1st grade and kindergarten teacher to teach a 7 year old girl & 5 year old boy in their home using The Good & The Beautiful homeschool curriculum. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a private homeschool position teaching two students using their Christian curriculum Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-12pm that pays $20/hour.

Looking for a teacher who is patient and kind, structured yet flexible (ie: reactive to the needs and abilities of the student), and has a passion for fostering a love of learning. The right teacher will be a team player who possesses the right balance between being focused & organized but not too strict. Job functions will include teaching and implementing lesson plans using the Christian-based Good & the Beautiful curriculum, engaging the children, and strengthening early academic, social & behavioral skills. Previous full-time self-contained classroom experience teaching 1st grade and/or kindergarten is preferred.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years experience teaching children of this age group, and at least one year of full-time self-contained early elementary classroom teaching experience is preferred. Minimum BA and State teacher certification is also preferred, but not required. Requirements
Must have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience, with 1 year minimum teaching in a classroom preferred. (Full- time self-contained early elementary classroom teaching experience is preferred.) BA and state teacher certification is preferred, but not required. Must have your own reliable transportation & cell phone, and must travel to the home of the students in Polk City, FL 33868 Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-12pm.
