Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person part-time homeschool teacher to teach all core subjects to an 11 year old boy in 6th grade at his home in Kalamazoo, MI 49009 Monday-Thursday mornings from 9am-12pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time homeschool teaching position in the morning that pays $50/hour ($600/week). This opportunity is for the upcoming 2025/26 school year in the fall beginning on September 1st.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach all subjects for a boy in 6th grade using their chosen curriculum which will be provided. (The parent may continue to use his private school curriculum, but they will supply the curriculum and they are willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum is used.) The teacher will teach all subjects, work to identify educational needs, and review progress with the parent.

The right teacher will be nurturing, fun, outgoing, motivated, organized, and an excellent communicator. Looking for a teacher who is self-disciplined and authentically enjoys teaching kids. The teacher should be comfortable teaching in a Christian family environment. Fluency in both Spanish and English is a plus, but not required.

Teacher candidates should have at least a BA and a minimum of one year teaching experience. State certification is preferred, but not required. Teachers To Go has been offering classroom teachers private job opportunities with flexible scheduling and competitive pay since 2007.

Requirements: Minimum BA and at least one year prior teaching experience, plus ability to teach all subjects at the 6th grade level. Must be comfortable teaching in a Christian environment.
