Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person teaching assistant for a 6 year old girl in her Montessori classroom. This is a great opportunity for the right education professional or soon-to-be graduate on the certified educator track: a private assistant teacher position at a prestigious Montessori school assisting one student Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm that pays $35/hour ($1400/week) January 2025-May 25th, 2025. A female teacher is preferred since the student is female.

Looking for a teacher, soon-to-be teacher, or assistant teacher who is personable, kind, attentive, engaging, and a team player who can work with and collaborate with the teacher, school and parents. The right teacher assistant will be able to help acclimate a 6 year old girl in her Montessori multi-age classroom environment for the remainder of this school year, through May 25th 2025. Looking for a teacher who can provide a personalized, helpful approach and engage with the student to optimize and provide a high quality educational foundation.

Requirements: Must have a minimum BA or almost BA on education track, or an associate degree. Must have prior teaching, tutoring, or assistant teaching experience working with children. Prior Montessori experience and prior experience working in a classroom is preferred, but not required. Must have your own reliable transportation & cell phone, and must travel to the location of the school in San Jose, CA 95128 Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm.
