Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an experienced elementary teacher to tutor all 5th grade subjects in-person for a 10 year old boy at his home in Decatur, AL 35601. This is a wonderful part-time tutoring opportunity for the right teacher: a private tutoring position Monday-Friday mornings from 8:30am-10:30am that pays $50/hour ($500/week).

BA and a minimum of one year professional elementary classroom teaching experience is required, teacher certification is preferred. Teacher must be able and willing to tutor the student in all 5th grade subjects using his homeschool curriculum. Must be a good communicator who will collaborate with and update parents.

Looking for a teacher who is patient, fun, encouraging and motivating, knowledgeable, kind and caring. Must be comfortable tutoring remotely during the aforementioned hours when the family is travelling out of town. (The family requires in-person tutoring, but they are occasionally out of town and need remote tutoring at those times.)
