Teachers To Go is looking for a late elementary or middle school teacher to provide private tutoring for a 12 year old boy in person using his 6th grade remote school curriculum at his home in Mathis TX 78368. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time private homeschool teaching position for the upcoming 2023/2024 school year tutoring just one student for three hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays either in the morning or early afternoonthat pays $45/hour (over $400/week).

Looking for a professional classroom teacher who is proficient at teaching and tutoring math and writing at the late elementary/early middle school level. The right teacher will be patient, motivating and engaging, encouraging, structured and organized. Looking for a teacher who is consistent and able to help keep the student on track.

Responsibilities include: teaching and guiding the student to learn from his remote school curriculum, coaching and developing his active learning and organization skills, supervising and supporting lesson completion and time management, and providing general tutoring as needed.

Requirements
- Minimum of a BA and 2 years of professional classroom teaching experience is required. Teaching experience with students in grades 4-8 is preferred. Some experience working with students with mild learning differences or difficulties breaking down multi-step instructions is a plus.
- Must have your own reliable transportation & cell phone, and must be able to travel to the home of the student in Mathis, TX 78368 every Tuesday-Thursday for three hours daily, either from 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm.
