Teachers To Go is looking for an experienced middle school/late elementary teacher to teach core subjects in-person to two children (a boy age 12 and girl age 8) at their home in Owings Mills, MD 21117: 4 days/week on Mondays 11am-5pm, Tuesdays 9:30am-2:30 pm, Thursdays 9:30am-2:30pm, & Fridays 9:30am-1:30pm (Wednesdays Off). This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a homeschool teacher position with part-time hours (20 hours/week) that pays $50/hour ($1000/Week).
Looking for a teacher who is: organized, patient, flexible, reactive to each child's needs, able to think outside the box, and able to be creative with hands-on learning. The right teacher will be able to walk the balance between natural and tech education, and have some prior experience teaching children with special needs (either in an inclusion classroom or special education environment). Health and fitness/wellness conscious is a plus.
Looking for a qualified teacher with some prior middle school classroom teaching experience who can teach all subjects and be responsible for implementing and overseeing a homeschool curriculum. (Experienced teachers homeschooling their own children are welcome to apply, may be open to combining with teacher's children if they are of similar age.)
Responsibilities include teaching and guiding the children to learn from parent-approved curricula (the parent is open to collaborating with the teacher about the curricula), assisting the children with school materials both online and offline, and finding creative ways to put subject matter into context for each child.

Requirements: BA and minimum two years professional classroom teaching experience (some prior experience teaching middle school students is required, middle school AND elementary is preferred), some SPED or inclusion classroom experience (prior experience working with ADHD students is a plus). Must be well-organized, must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, must be able to travel to the home of the students in person in Owings Mills MD 21117 on Mondays from 11am-5pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30am-2:30pm, and Fridays from 9:30am-1:30pm.
